Our dedicated catering staff assists you in preparing for the big event and insures that every detail is in place. Owner Linda Harmon has over thirty years of experience and our Events Coordinator, Laura Mack, guides each event with grace and knowledge. Only one event per day is scheduled which allows the entire staff to focus completely on your event. There are no set arrival times and no set schedules; your event can be planned in any way you would like.
Picture yourself at Baldwin Creek – your ceremony outside under the South Lawn arbor or in the Red Barn; follow with the social hour on beautiful grounds – photographs by the creek and in the gardens. And then an unforgettable farm to table meal. After dinner head into the Red Barn for music and dancing before the delectable wedding cake is served. And all the while the music plays on.
Here at Baldwin Creek, we host only one event each weekend to insure that each receives our undivided attention. Our weddings combine very personalized service with fresh, local food - including home-grown produce from our own on-site organic gardens, including eggs from our chickens.
Historically our nearly all-inclusive receptions tend to fall in the price range of $135 to $185 per person. This all inclusive price range includes the following:
A dedicated wedding coordinator from the minute the date is confirmed to the end of the reception
All food (from the appetizers and full dinner to the wedding cake)
Full bar service, with offerings designed by you.
Facilities fee - which includes use of the property and the Red Barn, tables, chairs, white linens and basic place settings
Vermont rooms and meals tax (9% food and 10% alcohol)
The bride and groom's overnight room for the weekend.
A personalized menu is created for each event featuring the legendary farm to table cuisine of Chef Doug Mack. Receptions may be lunch, brunch or dinner, and begin with appetizers and finish with the wedding cake and after dinner desserts. Each course is carefully planned to blend seamlessly.
Baldwin Creek can accommodate small, intimate parties of up to 45 guests year around inside. Outdoor receptions are held May – October and can accommodate up to 60 seated in the Red Barn and up to 200 guests seated under a tent just outside the Red Barn. Weddings are reserved well in advance. Please call to check availability for your preferred date.
Florist, photographer and musicians are not included in our package. However, we have worked with many talented professionals over the years and are happy to help you find just the right support people to assist in making your wedding at Baldwin Creek perfect.
